Harriet Tubman’s desire for freedom was great. One night in 1849, she had had enough and was quoted saying, “we out!” This made it clear that she was done with living as an enslaved person.
Has life ever caused you to desire freedom? Have you ever said, “I’m done!”.
Life has shown me when you have breaking points and come to the same crossroad again, you may have to make a decision. Sometimes you are ready and others times you’re not. I see now that when I finally knew WHO I was and WHOSE I was the choice was clearer. There may come a time for you when enough is enough. Just know your value and know your worth if you need to say, “I’m out.”
When your mind is made up, choose you and do not let what you hear or see stop you.
“If you hear the dogs, keep going. If you see the torches in the woods, keep going. If there’s shouting after you, keep going. Don’t ever stop. Keep going. If you want a taste of freedom, keep going.” -Harriet Tubman
