Sometimes the things we have when downsizing are no longer purposeful for us but very helpful for someone else.
Philippians 2:3-4 - Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.
During the flooding last summer, I was able to bless some families with things that were no longer purposeful for me but needful for them. The items I gave away not only served as, downsizing with intention, but also downsizing and allowing my trash to be their blessing. What are you holding onto that can bless someone else? Do not move it to the next place, be a blessing and give it away now.
